www.My6Months.com Mind Body Soul Documentary. http www.facebook.com Rob Jordan Physical Therapist talks about back pain. Back pain in the lower back or low back pain is a common concern, affecting up to 90% of Americans at some point in their lifetime. Up to 50% will have more than one episode. Low back pain is not a specific disease. Rather, it is a symptom that may occur from a variety of different processes. In up to 85% of people with low back pain, despite a thorough medical examination, no specific cause of the pain can be identified. * Low back pain is second only to the common cold as a cause of lost days at work. It is also one of the most common reasons to visit a doctor’s office or a hospital’s emergency department. * For 90% of people, even those with nerve root irritation, their symptoms will improve within 2 months, no matter what treatment is used-even if no treatment is given. * Doctors usually refer to back pain as acute if it has been present for less than a month and chronic if it lasts for a longer period of time Many things can cause low back injuries–muscle strain or spasm, sprains of ligaments (which attach bone to bone), joint problems or a “slipped disk.” The most common cause is using your back muscles in activities you’re not used to, like lifting heavy furniture or doing yard work. A slipped disk (also called a herniated disk) happens when a disk between the bones of the spine bulges and presses on nerves. This is often caused by twisting …

Good stuff! Except for the fact that spines CAN go out of alignment, press on disks and cause rupture/herniation. Also, it is possible to “relocate” a disk using spinal manipulation — however, you cannot heal a hernia this way as the nucleus of the disk is leaking outside of the disc membrane in the case of a hernia. You can’t push that stuff back in.

@duffero2009 As garlic is even better for anti inflamitory properties.its been six months ive still got a little pain but ive lost heaps of weight on the raw veg/fruit diet and im nearly healed. So the doctor can kiss my ass.Three years on pain med and anti inflamitory meds. What a scam.

@duffero2009 You want to do these three times a day but whatever you do dont sleep on your stomach.it places a lot of pressure on the spine and you will wake up sore.recovery time depends on how bad the bulge is.mine was 20mm and the doctor told me three years but i didnt take his drugs injections or surgery. i ate only raw fresh fruit and veg with a few almonds. To promote healing and create an alkaline healing environment to take the swelling down i also ate heaps of raw minced garlic.

it all depends ice will help if you have swelling, and heat is mainly to relax any tense areas. if somedays you have swelling use ice, if you are just feeling tight use the heat.

I have to say after going to the chiropractor when my neck / back is hurting, I have instant relief.
There is something wonderful about a good adjustment with a massage just before.
